It has been transcribed and the boring parts edited out to improve your reading experience. The boring parts were mostly me. So I want to give a little bit of history here. You sent me a message through the blog and gave me your story, and I thought it was so great that I asked you if we could do an interview.
And you said yes, so here we are! So tell me a little bit about the circumstances around when you found out you had cancer; your symptoms, etc. When I graduated from college inI had a swollen lymph node in my neck. I went to the doctor, and they actually suggested an MRI, so I went and I did that, and the results came back but there was nothing alarming to them. The doctor offered to give me antibiotics, and I went on antibiotics.
The lump shrunk, but only for a few months, then I noticed it was starting to come back. So I just kind of accepted that I had this swollen lymph node in my neck. Four years later intwo months after I got married, I was sitting at my desk at work, and I felt a very large lump in my armpit.
I went home and told my husband that night. He was more concerned than I was. About a week later, I went to the doctor. I want you to get this checked out. It was just like a whirlwind. The next day, I was in surgery getting the lymph node in my armpit removed. And I was a 26 year old caucasian female. So what about the lump in your neck? Was that still there? They shoot a needle into your hip basically, and they extract bone marrow to see if spread to the bone.
And that all just confirmed that it was 2A. And they want us to see a fertility specialist, because there was a chance I would go into early menopause or just not be able to have children. It was all so overwhelming. As I checked in with a lot of my friends today, I noticed a pattern. Everyone is sad.
Allow yourself to feel that emotion. In this time of isolation, many are getting to know themselves. In this time of silence at home alone with ourselves, we have the greatest opportunity to rebuild that relationship with ourselves.
Talk to yourself the way a close friend would. Be gentle. What emotion are you feeling?

Now validate it. What can you learn from this? Remember you are loved. You are beautiful. People can be cruel, bitter, and down right nasty. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?! You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Be gentle with yourself This morning I put on some makeup to try to feel a little like my old self. If anything I want to help others not feel so alone. BUT, I got out of bed without passing out, I walked myself around the house, and my vision is slowly improving. Linda is battling a major POTS flair up.
Thanks so much for all the well wishes as we take the needed time to recover! Jump to. Sections of this page. Accessibility help. Both officers were later convicted for Green's death. The official cause of death was ruled to be due to blunt force trauma to his head. Budzyn and Nevers were patrolling in Detroit in plain clothes in an unmarked vehicle.
Green allegedly failed to relinquish a vial of crack cocaine. After refusing to let go, Nevers struck Green in the head with his flashlight approximately 7 to 14 times during the struggle which, according to the official autopsy, resulted in his death.
After the struggle, Green was transported to a local hospital for treatment for the head injuries sustained in the struggle where he died. A subsequent report presented by experts testifying for the defense at the trial stated that Green died of heart failure, caused in part by an enlarged heart due to years of substance abuse, and aggravated by the struggle with police.
Green was black and the two officers were white and decorated though with a history of excessive force complaints. The incident occurred only months after the Los Angeles riots ofwhich protested the acquittal of police officers in the videotaped beating of Rodney King. Prior to jury selection, Detroit Mayor Coleman A. Young stated that Green was "literally murdered by police" on national television. The report was done by Dr. Kahlil Jiraki, the most junior coroner in the department. It was alleged by the defense that his report was rushed due to workload and his impending vacation.
The autopsy showed cuts to the scalp as well as subarachnoid hemorrhage and brain contusions.
However, there were no skull fractures, no other bone fractures. Green's heart was enlarged and the arteries hardened. Toxicology results ultimately showed that Green had a cocaine level of 0. Jiraki concluded that the death was caused by blunt force traumawhich caused swelling of the brain. Jiraki testified in Budzyn and Nevers' trial that the damage was done by "fourteen blunt force trauma blows to the head. However, under cross-examination, Jiraki testified that there was no swelling noted in the report, nor any fractures to the skull.
In the trial of Sgt. And, at Nevers' second trial, Dr. Cassin testified that he examined the body the day after Dr. Jiraki made his examination this second exam was never disclosed to the defense prior to, or during, the first trial and that drugs played a major part in Green's death. After the second trial, Jiraki sued the coroner's office, claiming that he was pressured by his superiors to change his findings to state that cocaine contributed to Green's death which he refused to do which would have supported the police officer's defense.
The coroner's officer later alleged during the civil trial that Jiraki was fired for supposed mental instability and absenteeism. This video is hilarious of Tucker the dog reacting to Alexa. Tucker is a golden pup AKC registered in Michigan. In this video Tucker looks like he is sitting behind a coffee table with Alexa placed in front of him. A couple times during the video that is just a few seconds more than three minutes Tucker had enough and walked away. Courtney offers treats here and there during the video making.
I love watching the expressions of his eyes and ears as well as the head tilts and barks as he listens to Alexa. She asks Alexa to open laugh box, it sounds like a scary laugh. She also asks for a few more animal sounds like a whale, wolf and lion. Tucker reactions to all the sounds were priceless.
Two times during the video Courtney asks Alexa for a fart. You can hear her laughing out loud at Tucker the dog reacting to Alexa. I can tell she really enjoys interacting with her dog. I've always had a dog or 2 living with me since I was a child.

One of the biggest problems people have with cooking a roast is it coming out dry and tough. I know this because I was one of them. Makes sense. A roast is supposed to be cooked low and slow. Make sure to use a good quality chuck roast. Sometimes the problem lies just in the quality of meat! Other than that I can guarantee this recipe will create a moist and tender roast every time!
Generously salt and pepper all sides of the roast. Then mix all the herbs and spices in a small dish and dust onto the chuck roast. Rub the seasonings into the meat. In a large pan, bring oil up to a medium high temperature. Add the chuck roast and brown on all sides. Remove the chuck roast and set aside.
Using a wooden spatula, scrap all the brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Once all bits are removed take off the burner and set aside. Assemble your roast in the center of a large roasting pan. Place the onions, carrots, potatoes and garlic around the roast. Season the veggies with salt and pepper to taste. Add the wine. Add chicken broth and beef broth until it fills up a little over halfway on the roast. You can use all chicken or all beef broth based on your preferences. Place on the lid, and cook at degrees for about 3 hours.
Start checking on it at the 3 hour mark and continue cooking longer for a more moist and tender meat. The longer you cook it, the more tender it will be! For larger roasts, cook 1 hour per pound of meat.
I cooked mine for 3 hours and 30 minutes! Optional: Separate the liquids from the veggies and meat.
Simmer the liquids over medium high heat.So you were among the first to douse yourself with ice water. Above is one of the newest viral challenges, dubbed the Invisible Challenge, in which you cordon off a doorway with plastic wrap and then encourage your dog to run over, under or through it. By doing so you achieve, well … nothing at all … other than wasting plastic wrap, instilling some fear or confusion in your dog, or possibly putting him or her at risk if he or she decides to eat his or her way through that barrier.
It is not one of those challenges that raises money for a good cause, like the ice bucket challenge did. It does not require any athletic ability or mental prowess. It is just a dopey-ass stunt. Now if you want to inflict those on yourself, and get yourself on YouTube, go right ahead. Wrap yourself in aluminum foil and bask under the hot sun. Take a polar bear plunge. Swim the English channel and climb Mt. Everest on the same day.
Teaching your dog tricks, obedience, agility training are useful pursuits, and challenging your dog can be be rewarding and enjoyable for both of you. But putting your dog at risk or hopelessly confusing them so you can get a chuckle and clicks on the Internet is borderline cruelty and often a bit sadistic.
This challenge was born on July 2 when social media accounts under the name TuckerBudzyn posted the first such invisiblechallenge video on Twitter and Instagram. In the video, a golden retriever named Tucker is thwarted by plastic wrap that has been stretched across a doorway. Tucker is owned by YouTube personality Courtney Budzyn, who normally posts food videos, but apparently took a break from making casseroles to mildly torture her dog. The Internet challenge took off, with dog owners across the globe deciding to try it themselves.
You can find way too many more of them in this exhaustive NJ. Cut it out. View this post on Instagram.Tucker Budzyn is a YouTube channel dedicated to a golden retriever dog named Tucker. He is owned by a lady named Courtney Budzyn and the two live in Michigan.
